UNDERSTANDING HOW REGISTRATION WORKS

AYSO 676 runs a 12-week Program/Season split into two sessions:  6 weeks in the Fall & 6 weeks the following Spring
           - Each Fall begins a new 12-week Program/season (Example:  Fall 2023/Spring 2024 is one program/season)

*** We DO NOT open Registration again in the Spring.

PLAYGROUND is only a 6-week session. When you sign-up for Playground, you are signing up for one session at a time, not both.  The reason for this is because sometimes kids are too old in the fall to stay in Playground and are now old enough to move up to 5U, therefore, they do not enroll in Playground for all 12 weeks. 

Due to increased costs of our uniforms, equipment, parking lot maintenance, lawn maintenance care, sprinkling and well maintenance, the cost of a field line painter to help with our field painting and the increased national membership fee, the new cost for Fall 2024/Spring 2025 is $160 whether you register for Fall ONLY, BOTH Fall & Spring, or Spring ONLY. 
           - If you register for BOTH fall & spring and then decide not to play spring, a refund is not given, as your child already played the fall       
             session  (Playground is $125 for 6 weeks in the fall and $125 for 6 weeks in the spring. They are separate from above)

If you register for Fall ONLY and your child wants to stay on the same team for Spring, we can usually accommodate that if you tell us before the fall season ends. 

If your child didn't play in the fall but wants to play in the Spring, you need to register when our yearly registration is open which is usually in May when our current Spring is in session. Even is you are unsure if your child wants to play Spring, it's better to secure a spot and cancel by the refund deadline, then to be added to the waitlist in the spring. 

If you do not register your child for spring during the registration period, then you can register your child and be put on the waitlist.  We have players that only play the fall only session so we then pull from the waitlist to fill up those teams. 

You can likely get your child off the waitlist if you volunteer to HEAD COACH your child's team. Or if someone if your family volunteers to HEAD COACH (parent, grandparent, adult sibling, aunt, uncle). Just remember that we do have to activate teams in pairs so teams have another tam to play against.
